About Marcos
My foundation is adult and English-language learning. My broader practice is helping people enter, understand, and move through programs, systems, and transitions.

Learning is not separate from operations. A confusing handoff, an unclear message, or a missing follow-up can shape the experience as much as the lesson itself.
I have worked across international education, adult English programs, workforce operations, community-based support, and independent professional communication coaching.
Those settings look different, but the recurring work is surprisingly consistent: listen closely, make the real need visible, organize the moving parts, create a useful tool, and help the people involved understand what comes next.
I am at my best when a role asks me to move between people and systems. I can facilitate a learning activity, map a participant journey, improve a documentation standard, coordinate stakeholders, or rewrite a message so the intended audience can actually act on it.
ESL is my foundation, not my ceiling. It taught me how to check assumptions, explain complex ideas plainly, adapt in real time, and treat clarity as a form of respect.
Working principles
Understand the goal, context, barrier, and decision before designing the tool.
Map the handoffs, assumptions, ownership, and information flow that shape the experience.
Prefer clear, practical resources people can apply in the moment over impressive but fragile complexity.
Separate what is documented, observed, recalled, intended, and illustrative.
